TSS’ vision is that the existing different networks (telecom, broadcast and Internet) will integrate into one IP based network. In combination with IP based applications and/or IP based devices companies are able to communicate directly with their target audiences.

TSS operates in a fast-paced, dynamic market bursting with new ideas and technological innovation. TSS’ place in that market is one of synthesis, bringing together the concepts and technology of the broadcast and media markets, and those of the telecommunications and business markets.The resultant systems, solutions and services developed by TSS are bought by broadcasters and service providers on the one hand, and a whole range of business clients on the other. TSS is always on the lookout for new ways to help these organisations optimise their business processes and achieve their objectives.
Apart for being merely a supplier of systems and solutions, TSS is also a cross media service provider company that engages in partnerships with business users, media companies and network and service providers. TSS plays an active role in creating new business opportunities and utilises flexible business models, taking a share of the risk in new business ventures.
TSS Cross Media Group comprises the service provider TSS ASP bv, iTRON, the network provider with access to 6 million households and TSS bv, that develops and builds TSS’ systems, applications and solutions. These companies together make up today’s full-service organisation, providing cross media solutions in the international market.
TSS History
The idea to set up a company like TSS was born in the mind of its founder, Jan Bons, during the late 1980's. Jan Bons was an active member of the scientific staff at the telecommunications faculty at Delft University of Technology, where he noticed that many of the exciting innovations yielded by research never found application in the public domain. He realised that there was an opportunity here and decided to work together with Delft University of Technology to turn some of the innovations into marketable products.
TSS is based in Gouda and is fully privately owned by the management.
